Jeonbuk motors to K-League title

Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors sealed the 2011 K-League title after a 2-1 win over Ulsan Hyundai on Sunday gave the 2011 AFC Champions League runners-up a 4-2 aggregate victory.
Leading 2-1 from Wednesday's first-leg in Ulsan, which came courtesy of an Eninho double, Jeonbuk had a chance to extend their advantage 20 minutes into the return fixture at Jeonju World Cup Stadium when Lee Dong-gook was brought down in the penalty box but the 2011 ACL top scorer fired the spot-kick straight at Ulsan keeper Kim Young-kwan.
Jeonbuk were made to pay for their profligacy in the 56th minute when Seol Ki-hyeon scored from close range only for Eninho to level on the night and restore his side's aggregate lead three minutes later, when the Brazilian converted from the penalty spot after Choi Chul-soon had been fouled in the area.
Eninho's compatriot Luiz Henrique sealed the win with a fine solo effort in the 68th minute as Jeonbuk claimed their second K-League title in three seasons.
"I think that with this title we have become a big club," Jeonbuk coach Choi Kang-hee said.
"We will do our best next year to win the title once again. Ulsan gave us a very tough game and I want to applaud them. To win the title has been very difficult."
Jeonbuk and runners-up Ulsan are in the draw for the 2012 AFC Champions League Group Stage which takes place at AFC House in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday, with proceedings getting underway at 1600hrs local time.
